Voting places will be set up in the four Nisga’a Villages and three Nisga’a Urban locals for advance voting day – Sunday November 1, 2020 and regular voting day – Wednesday November 4, 2020.
Each of the above noted voting places will require staffing as follows:
1 District Officer – Experience with database/internet, driver’s license/transportation
1 Deputy District Officer
As many as 6 voting officials (in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions)
1 Information Officer

When applying to work in one of the NIsga’a villages, be advised that you may be stationed at a voting place outside of the community that you reside in.
Training will occur once all positions have been filled.

5 of 8 for Laxgalts’ap
4 of 8 for Gingolx
2 of up to 8 for Prince Rupert/Port Edward
2 of up to 8 for Terrace
4 of up to 8 for Vancouver
The countdown is on. October 23 – November 4: 12 days before Regular Voting Day.
The Nisga’a Elections Office has a list of over 100 people who have worked at voting places in past elections – we would prefer that you call our office if you’d like to work at this election because we are extremely busy with voting preparation.
